The Indian Rubber Expo 2011 is a testament to the confidence and relevance of India's largest rubber body - the All India Rubber Industries Association AIRIA , the organiser of the India Rubber Expos Established in 1945, the AIRIA is comprised of over 1200 members,headquartered in Mumbai.

The 6th international Exhibition and Conference will take place between 19th and 22nd January 2011 is a must for everyone in the filed of rubber and allied materials.The India Rubber Expo will have an expected 15000 visitors, 350 participating companies from India and around the world spread over an area of 12000 Square meters.

India Rubber Expo continues to provide a valuable platform of growth , exchange and collaboration. Offering Unique opportunity for Indian companies to meet and share information. It is vital part of thriving rubber industry and a clear indicator of India's own status as the second fastest growing economy in the world.

ALL INDIA RUBBER INDUSTRIES ASSOCIATION (AIRIA)

To associate is to share, to share is to feel one with all those connected with the same industry or trade. Out of unity emerges a united voice and strength for the articulation of problems, for solution and better prospects. For an industry, progress emanates from better understanding and mutual co-operation amongst its members, and meaningful services through a common forum – an Association and hence its need.

WHAT IS AIRIA?

The All India Rubber Industries Association is a non-profit making body serving the rubber industry and trade with the objectives of safeguarding and promoting interests of the industry.

AIMS & OBJECTS

The aims and objects for which AIRIA stands, inter-alia, include:

• To promote and protect the interest, growth and development of the Rubber Industry.

• To foster co-operation among individuals and units engaged in the manufacture of rubber goods with a view to safeguarding and promoting the interests of the industry.

• To provide common fora for exchange of views amongst the members.

• To arrange conferences, exhibitions, trade delegations, factory visits, techno-commercial talks and allied activities.

• To investigate, collect and circulate information and statistics relating to the industry.

• To represent officially to Government the views of the industry on all matter affecting or likely to affect the industry.

• To help the members in solving the difficulties faced in procuring raw materials.

• To support or oppose legislative or other measures likely to affect the industry.

• To disseminate information through the official organ, periodicals, circulars, etc.

The participants in IRE 2011 comprised of manufacturers, suppliers, raw material providers, indenters, key personnel and service providers to the rubber industry from across Asia and the World. Among special attractions were the Country Pavilions of USA, Germany, Malaysia, China, Sri Lanka, Thailand, besides others. The IRE 2009 showcased 200 + Exhibitors from around the world and over 12,000 domestic and overseas visitors with 40+ papers presented at the 3-day Conference, a stand-alone Rubber Quiz and a Gala Dinner accompanied by a glittering rubber Theme-based Fashion Show. The event recorded growing attendance from segments like machine manufacturers, testing equipment, R & D labs, rubber e-companies, and a large number of participants from Singapore, USA, UK, Italy, Brazil, Kenya, Iran, Thailand, Sri Lanka, UAE, Pakistan, China, Bangladesh, Ghana, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Australia, Russia and Japan.

The core purpose of the IRE 2011 Rubber Conference is to give the Indian Rubber Industry a hands-on feel of global achievements and trends in the field along with the latest technological advancements available. It will also provide a common forum for all Asian countries to work together, leverage shared strategies to explore opportunities - very relevant, because Asian markets are today the second-largest consumers of natural rubber and have a growth rate higher than its European counterparts. Experts from Asian countries such as Japan, China, Malaysia, and Korea will come together with specialists from the USA, Germany and The Netherlands to discuss emerging market scenarios, technologies, alliances, etc.

IRE 2009 was organized by AIRIA jointly with CII on 28th to 31st , January 2009 at Salt lake stadium Kolkata to give the Indian Rubber Industry a hands-on feel of global achievements and trends in the field along with the latest technological advancements available.

It also provided a common forum for all Asian countries to work together, leverage shared strategies to explore opportunities because Asian markets is today the second-largest consumers of natural rubber and have a growth rate higher than its European counterparts.
