RECORD VISITORS AT TYREXPO ASIA 2OO5
A record numbers of visitors poured through the doors of the Singapore
Expo Centre as Tyrexpo Expo Asia 2005 got underway last week. Over IOOO trade visitors from a total of 73 countries were recorded on the
first day of the exhibition with the final visitor attendance figure
at just under 3,000 representing the highest single visitor figures in
the events history. The Organisers, ECI International commented ' We
have been delighted with the excellent turnout. The exhibition floor
has been very busy and exhibitors have expressed satisfaction with the
quality of visitors attending the show.
We have already had a number of re-bookings for the next Tyrexpo Asia
in two years time'. However, it is not only the visitor

numbers which have contributed to the success of Tyrexpo Asia. This
year’s event has attracted IOO exhibitors, representing a 2O % growth on
the last exhibition in February 2OO4. Furthermore, with exhibitors
including tyre and tube manufacturers, tyre wholesalers, garage equipment
suppliers, tools and accessory suppliers as well as manufacturers of
rubber and equipment for the retreading industry, the exhibition has now
achieved a more balanced exhibitor profile than it has in the past.
A number of regular exhibitors at Tyrexpo Asia professed themselves to be
highly satisfied with the results of the first day’s business at the show.
Maria Locatelli, International Business Director, Vipal commented, We have
had a number of interesting contacts during the first day at the
exhibition and are pleased that the quality of business opportunities has
continued to improve compared to previous shows'. Sushil Sarcar, Export
Manager, Elgitread, highlighted the high quality of service he had
received from the exhibition Organisers “We have received excellent
support from ECI” he said. “And are also very pleased report that we have
had a very good response, including several interesting new interesting
new contacts from Africa and the Middle East”.
Tyrexpo Asia 2007 is scheduled to take place from the 11 to 13
September, 2007 at the Singapore Expo Centre.
